Evgeniy Monahov was born in 1974 in Moscow, in the family of a naval officer and engineer, none of his relatives or ancestors had any contact with art. Nevertheless, at a fairly early age, he began to show interest in art.
Evgeniy Monahov graduated from the Moscow Academic Art School in 1996 and the Surikov Institute in 2002.
