Monica Lizano

Born in 1973 in San Jose, Costa Rica and studied at the University of Costa Rica. She works as a freelance artist since 1998 (in painting and graphic design). In her work she uses the figure of the fish as a symbol to capture the energy carried by the feelings in every phase of the life. With the strength of colors she transmits vibrations of happiness, sadness, serenity… often harmonious, many are contradictory and irreverent. With free strokes and textures her abstraction creates magic to attract attention, or perhaps just the telling of endless stories…
