Mykhailo Miekhanoshyn

I was born in Donetsk,Ukraine in 1972, where I received my initial art education. 1989-1995--studied at MIPT. 1997-2016--lived in Crimea, Ukraine. and there I painted most of my paintings. After the occupation of the Crimea by russia, I moved to Kyiv
I love artists who do their job based on their relationship with the Universe :Van Gogh, Cezanne, Rembrandt, Soutine, Bruegel, Johannes Vermeer..
I draw on cardboard because I need a substantially solid surface under my brush,
this is what my drawing method requires.
Some of my work is owned by individuals, these were gifts.

I graduated from MIPT in 1995
I do not think that art can be taught in an educational institution. Either you feel it or you don't.

I had an individual performance in Simferopol, participated in a group performance before Independence Day (it seems) in Kiev.
