Nadine Bradshaw is a Canadian painter and illustrator.
Since graduating in 2013 with her Bachelor of Visual Art from The University
of British Columbia in Canada Nadine has worked out of The Hague in the Netherlands, maintain a daily studio practice.
Nadine is primarily a portrait painter, both taking portrait commissions and building a portfolio of personal work. Her definition of portrait though expands to include portraits of plants and portraits of gardens. Both human and botanical subjects are alive and have a dynamic life cycle. A portrait painting has the ability to capture a particular, ephemeral moment in a subjects lifecycle, such as childhood or spring.
Nadine was nominated for the BMO 1st ART! Invitational student art competition in 2013 and was awarded the UBC Deputy Vice Chancellor purchase Award
