Nadine Leo

My inspiration comes from where I was born and raised in Rabat, Morocco. It is full of colors, ideas, festivals, great food and it is always close to my heart. I come from a very creative family and I was always encouraged to have my “creative corner” to do my own thing.

I have always remained connected to the creative world.
I moved to Arizona with my Husband where there is a wonderful school named “Scottsdale Artists School”. There, the possibilities were endless. I have been able to take classes over the past 15 years with many well known artists including Dave Powell, Ron Riddick, John Coleman and Dan Gerhartz. This helped refine my skills in painting,
drawing and sculpting. They have inspired me for a lifetime and today my art is a reflection of all those relationships and the love I have for people and nature. Every piece I do, I follow my heart and what I love
now is being an independent thinker, using all my acquired experience and following my very own inspiration.

Presently I am doing some colorful nature and portrait paintings following my new impressionist and abstract style.

I was in art school,‘Les Arts Applique’s”, at age 16 for two years and then 4 more years at “Minneapolis College of Art and Design”, graduating with a degree in fine art.
