Hi, welcome. Narcolia, a word that appeared in a dream many years ago. I was going through a time of stress, caring for a relative. As you may have experienced yourself – the subconscious has a way of expressing. It may not make sense. A journey through a deeper part of the soul. The words ‘Narc’ and ‘olia’ were part of my processing- infused together in the dream. A feeling of escapism. A moment of air. I think my unconscious wanted a release of creativity. So, I wrote about an alternate reality called ‘Narcolia’. A land of narcotics, hedonism and adventure. A place where I could be someone. Where I could write my future through the characters I created. The book remains unfinished.
In another dream, I walked through a tall church with the stained-glass windows shattering; fragments colliding in the air. Buddhist monks were doing back-flips. I walked at a faster pace than the concept of time in this reality. Monks were selling art at stalls. There were many beautiful pieces of art- none that I could focus on.
