Dan Nash Gottfried

I was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario Canada where I currently live as a self taught artist, designer, illustrator and musician. Giving immense credit towards my artistic father. All throughout my school life the only thing that truly spoke to me was art, it naturally overpowered everything else.

Therapeutic in nature, painting and drawing for me has proved to be my coping mechanism and medicine. Overcoming adversity with anxiety throughout my life and having a beautiful mother affected by Multiple Sclerosis are huge contributors to my artistic pursuit. Seeing my mother’s consistent and daily perseverance combined with her strong will encourages me to push through my own struggles and remain passionate and focused.

My overall goal is to create and connect. To create art that continually evolves with myself, and to connect people to my art in positive ways.

I have sold my work locally and internationally to over a dozen U.S states as well as the U.K. I am also a Design Edge Canada Graphic Design Award Winner for album art design.
