Nastassia Bas

Through my work I try to explore the fragile nature of human emotions, to understand the complex process of feelings and connections. I am inspired by the endless fluctuations and multi-layered experiences in the soul of each participant in the game of life.

Through contrasting colors, stains, and the fluidity of watercolors, I strive to convey the emotional impact of the moment, convey the character of the scene and immerse the viewer in the conveyed state, to help project this state onto themselves.

The structure of the ground on a wooden panel allows watercolors to acquire a new, non-standard sound, maximizing the expressiveness of the depicted moment.

I strive to combine shapes and colors to find a new expressive language of beauty. Searching for interesting images and types, conveying the soul through appearance and gaze - my works are focused on the emotional reading of the human image and the dialectical concept of the human soul.

I completed the summer courses "Painting". ArCo - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual. Lisbon

I studied with the famous artist from England Anastasia Shimshilashvili.

Completed an online course in academic drawing.
