I am a photographer who was born in New Jersey, USA. I am now a resident of Washington, DC.This is a pinhole self portrait, having tea at a diner near Philadelphia. For a decade I have been working with a pinhole camera. My largest series is entitled "A Pinhole Diary of Eating Out," featuring pinhole images of meals in restaurants near home, and as I travel (New York, Los Angeles, London...). The long pinhole exposure times, along with the infinite depth of field, have a wonderful way of transforming familiar scenes. I also work with toy cameras, alternative processes, and in video.
