My objective in creating art is to move the senses by giving an intensification of reality. I’m particularly interested in engaging the viewer as a participant interpreting and interacting with the artwork. I strive through the application of color, texture, and imagery to achieve this goal. The materials, subject matter and techniques are of secondary importance to me.

Nature, nesting and nurturing interest me and are recurrent themes throughout my artwork. The transitions, transformations, and expectations inherent in these areas provide unending challenges.

My current works vary from representational to pure abstraction. The majority of my recent paintings are in mixed medias on PVC sheets and wooden panels. My installations vary in mediums.
