My name is Maryna Novohorodska, and I am a Ukrainian artist born in 1983. I hold a Master's degree in Graphic Design from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, as well as a PhD in Educational Sciences. For many years, I have been a proud member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine.
My true passion lies in freehand drawing and painting. I work in a variety of mediums, including soft pastels on paper, and often draw inspiration directly from nature. Most of my work is created en plein air and explores the genres of landscape and still life. Each piece is original and deeply personal, reflecting the beauty I see in the world around me.
In 2022, I fled the war in Ukraine with my two children, leaving much of my family behind. Now, as I rebuild our lives in the United States, I continue to pursue my artistic journey with renewed purpose and emotion.
Art is not just my profession—it is my calling. I pour my heart and soul into every piece I create. I believe that each artwork carries its own energy, and I strive to imbue my work with positivity, warmth, and beauty. This connection between artist and viewer, between emotion and form, is what makes my work deeply valued by collectors and art lovers alike.
