As a keen artist you will often find me wondering the British countryside, overseeing with a keen eye mother nature at her finest, snapping and sketching the characteristics of all kinds of creatures. From the smallest insect hiding in the warmth of the long grass to the vast landscapes that cover the horizon. I ask why look anywhere else when such beauty is to been seen?
I use a wide range of techniques to create three dimensional textiles that capture aspects of nature that I have found beautiful. This beauty I find serves as a reminder of the importance of the natural world, and how we should endeavour to preserve it, this idea has particular importance in society today.

My work has developed from a formal training in Costume design (BA Hons in Costume with Performance Design, Bournemouth), where I pursued an interest in artistic costume, graduating with a first class honours. I exhibited work in the World of Wearable Art Museum in New Zealand, in their year long exhibit “Crossing Boundaries”. The piece exhibited was also shown on an international stage at the World of Wearable Arts Award Show. Professional standard work was also essential for costumes I produced for the Bury St Edmund Theatre Royal production Rupunsal and the Rascal Prince, also for Weymouth Olympic Opening Ceremony in 2012.

I am a member of 'The East Cornwall Society of Artists' and exhibit my work within the 'Ebenezer Gallery' in Polperro, Cornwall.

I also exhibit in the 'Kaya Galley' in Plymouth

Public Hall in Liskeard 'PL14 6BW' from Wednesday 9th March to Sunday 13th March in their annual art exhition in aid of Cancer Reasearch UK.
