I am an Iranian-American artist and designer with a deep passion for visual and performing arts. For me, art is more than a practice—it's a language through which I share the complexities of my inner world. My work tells the ongoing story of a Middle Eastern immigrant woman living in the United States who navigates life’s crises with resilience, vulnerability, and strength.
My creative process is intuitive and adaptive. Over the years, I’ve explored a range of mediums—from watercolor and acrylic painting to photography, singing, and dance installations—depending on the message I want to convey. Yet, one unifying theme stands out when I reflect on decades of expression: a woman of fire in constant dialogue with mental health struggles, immigration, social injustice, and political resistance.
Art has become my most powerful healing tool. But what moves me even more is the shared healing that occurs when others engage with my work. Viewers have told me they feel seen, validated, and understood—through images and movements that often speak louder than words. That connection is, perhaps, the most meaningful outcome of my artistic journey.
