From the tender age of 8, Ortolani embraced photography as a means of expression. His early adventures, with a modest Kodak film camera, kicked off a path of discovery and innovation that took him through various techniques and styles. From shooting on Velvia films to printing in Ciba Chrome, Ortolani has cultivated his passion for natural landscapes, capturing their beauty with extreme colors or through the rigor of black and white, to move on to portraits, arriving at the latest surreal provocation of this exhibition.
