Terry Ouimet

I am an impressionist plein air oil painter trained in the Russian school of painting and at the Art Students League of Denver. I was born (1970) in London, Ontario Canada.
My subject matter is largely influenced by where I live and my love of being outdoors in the Rocky Mountains. My goal is to hand craft a version on canvas of what it felt like to be in that place at that time, as opposed to copying or reproducing what I see. In doing so, my desire is that the paintings will remind collectors of a special memory or place, that my works will bring hope, joy and inspiration to one small part of their lives.
