Pamela Covington

Pamela Covington Artist Bio:
Pamela Covington is recognized for her intuitive and creative process. Scrapping, smearing, flinging, and brushing the paint Covington immerses herself into each piece. Her work, is a visual metaphor examining the cycles of life and relationships between the physical and spiritual world.
Driven by the need to connect to others, through the unique language of art, Covington attended Southwest Missouri State University, where she studied art and graphic design as a non-traditional student. Her focus on using the principles and elements of art to create a composition and the influence of the masters of Abstract Expressionism Movement she accredits to her academic
studies.
Currently Covington spends much of her time traveling to participate in some of the Top juried art shows around the country. After experiencing life on the East and West Coasts, she finds the peace and tranquility to create her work between shows at her home and studio nestled in the woods by a lake south of Kansas City, MO.
