Elena Panizza

Hello everyone, we’re Max and Elena Panizza, the artists of the sea.
We were born in Milan. We live and paint in Rozzano, in our house flooded with light, looking at the sea of trees that surrounds us.
We speak for two because we’re an artistic couple, as well as in life. In our paintings the sum of the emotions, of the pictorial techniques and of our personal perception of reality become a unique and better art synthesis.
Our artistic path begins with the high school and art schools that have provided us with the basics of our pictorial and professional culture.
Before living only in art, we worked as graphic designers and illustrators, creating entire series of illustrated fairy tales, CD and record covers, creating images for catalogs, design objects, and greeting cards.
At the same time, our desire to be free to express ourselves without conditioning was growing. We began to paint, in the evening, in every free moment, looking for our way. The first marine canvas was like a bolt from the blue. As soon as we finished painting it, we understood that we wanted to paint the sea to communicate our art message to the world.
