Jose Parra-Moreno

Born in Madrid in 1960, I took
my first steps in the art world, at my grandfather´s studio (Antonio Moreno. Painter.1900-1991)
At those years I got several youth awards and Art studies -always unfinished- in Círculo de Bellas Artes (Madrid) and at the Academy of Raphael Hidalgo Caviedes (Painter 1930-1995).
Simultaneously I study in the Superior Technical School Architecture of Madrid till get my Master Title.
During years I combined my work as an Architect with artistic activity, getting several prizes in drawing and painting contest. Since several years ago I work only as an artist.
Currently I am arranging my own painting exhibitions and working on portraits, always large size.
My portraits and paintings are in important private collections in Switzerland, Germany, Peru, USA and Spain.
