Robert Pentelovitch

My paintings depict imagery of a world in which we all participate, yet often take for granted in our daily lives.

With a clear desire to express myself through the painting medium I have been able to communicate my unique dialogue.

I depict areas which are a mystery to most people yet represent some interesting environments that we can all appreciate. The celebration of a gear shape, cable, chain link, cylinder, etc., through the painting medium is truly an exciting and challenging exercise. The volumes, shapes, values, and hues available in these subjects allows me the opportunity to explore my imagination and abilities to their utmost.

My work is in many prestigious private and corporate collections , and I have been fortunate to be included in many group and one-man shows throughout the United States. Amongst the various awards I have received, I am especially proud to have been chosen for a fellowship in 1991 by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
