Carmen M Perez - Stoppert

Hello, I'm Carmen M. Perez – Stoppert, a Latina artist, metalsmith, sculptor, and educator. I have always striven to learn new methods and techniques for personal growth, and to educate and support others. My passion for art has led me to exhibit in expos, galleries, and art fairs. For over 30 years, I have created one-of-a-kind art, custom work for clients, and taught students in my studio. I love working with abstract figures, especially in silver, brass, and mixed metals

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors in Art from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, where I studied from 1979 to 1985. I was honored to receive an Art Talent Scholarship during my time there. I have also taken many online courses to continue expanding my knowledge and skills.
