Peter Jewkes

After our architectural partnership folded in the late 80's I took a trip to Atlantis, the art warehouse in London's East end and moved out of the city to the West country. Here in a rural cottage I started to experiment with pigments and acrylics on huge sheets of paper laid out on the grass. I traveled to Andalusia during the 90's and was captivated, first filing sketch books working out of the back of an old Land rover and now fully relocated from my hill top studio.

Dover Grammar school, studied architecture at University College London, taught architecture at Canterbury College of Art, Thames Polytechnic, Brookes university, Oxford, Private architectural practice, London.
