Llewellyn Berry

I am a photographic artist and photography instructor. For years I produced black and white photographs with very little interest in color work. Recently I have expanded and redefined my work to include black and white and color photo-etching and the layering of my photographic images. By adding color, adding and reducing contrast and repetitive layering of similarly layered images, I am able to create entirely different images that have increased depth and perception.
I am trying to produce a cubism effect through a modern abstract process.

Photography, reaches significant highs as an art form when it illuminates the world around us. The artist's unique perspective illuminates that kernel of our being - our collective and universal being. That image can be a constant reminder of the uniqueness of the universe and the pervasive beauty that surrounds us.
