I was born and raised in Korea and am currently working as a full-time painter based in Seoul. From a young age, I had a strong interest in drawing, which led me to begin formal art training early on, with a foundation in classical drawing techniques. I majored in Western painting at university, where I developed a deeper understanding of traditional and modern art practices. In graduate school, I focused my research on Post-Impressionism, a period that significantly influenced my artistic direction. Since then, I have been continuously exploring abstract forms of expression. My current work is rooted in these experiences, combining structured academic foundations with the emotional and conceptual freedom of abstraction. Through this ongoing process, I seek to construct a visual language that reflects both personal introspection and broader human emotions.
