My name is Pedro Palma Casanova, I am a Graphic Designer of the PUCV and I dedicate myself to painting and drawing intermittently since I was 18 years old. I was born and raised in Paillaco, current Region of the Rivers, Chile. Now I live in Viña del Mar, Chile and I have a daughter named Isidora (gift of Isis). Even my exhibition of paintings that I presented in Valdivia in 2014 proclaimed in one way or another the free and abstract forms, by trade and by school. But after a profound change of life, today I can say that, in spite of myself, I take care of the human figure: of the drawing of this, playing dangerously in the limits of the abyss of figuration, which so much afflicts abstract or concrete artists. Since mid-2015 I participate periodically and in a disciplined manner, in an artistic collective called "Afternoon Drawing". Instance that was born in Valparaíso in 2014 created by the plastic artist Bettiana Castro Dottori and as an innovative initiative in the socio-cultural context of the region, due to the use of live models in sessions open to all audiences. In these sessions, emphasis is placed on the experience of what is seen and experienced, through the experimental study of the human figure and the plastic techniques.
