I am now based in Cologne, Germany. After working as a freelance Photography-Assistant for various high-profiled Fashion, People and Architecture Photographers, I soon worked for my own Clients and started my Art Studies. Since 2008 I work as a professional Art, People and Architecture Photographer. That was the time, when I started my series (without knowing where it will take me) of abstract images - the Series of - AQUARELLLANDSCAPE Many more came after that. Since 2020 I work on my longtime Series - BUSHAEUSER - (translated - Busstops) - a Art Series about public transportation in small villages on the countryside in Germany. Than there are a couple of new Series like one of my current ones : - SCHOENEFORMENSEHEN translated into English it means - to see beautiful shapes In my series SCHOENEFORMENSEHEN I deal intensively with the world from above. Sometimes it's a field consisting of thousands of grain varieties, sometimes it's a reed field, then again a bodden (a little lake), forests, snowy landscapes. - MATI - In this work, in which I explore space and perspectives, I play with light and shadow, which in turn create depth. In doing so, I challenge the viewer to look at the world from new perspectives. The deliberate distortion of perspectives opens up unexpected dimensions of perception that highlight the space as an independent design element. - The series BORBOLETTA from 2025 combines photographic studies of landscapes with precise digital interventions. Expanses, forest forms and cloudscapes are met with graphic lines that don’t illustrate, but rather restructure. The title – a reference to the Portuguese word for “butterfly” – points to the transience of the subject and the lightness of the visual gesture. The works oscillate between observation and construction. Lines break horizons, create tension, define transitions. A balance emerges between natural imagery and digital composition – between documentary photography and abstraction. Borboletta opens a contemplative space where perception, structure and transformation enter into dialogue. My inspiration comes from walking – sometimes through untouched nature, sometimes through vibrant cities. I listen, I sense, I observe – and I collect fragments of reality that only take shape in the calm of the studio.
