Dinar Brooke

.Born in the tropical paradise island of Sri Lanka which boast of a rich multicultural, religious and ethnic history of over two millennia, in a urban town named Galle hugging the beautiful western coastal belt.

I paints nearly everyday. To me painting is a way to and memorialize my personal experiences, celebrate life and come to terms with challenges.

Being an artist isn’t just about putting pencil to paper, or brush to canvas. Art can and does mean so much more than that, to so many people. Art is a way of seeing the world, a way manner of expression, oftentimes our need to create art feels like a compulsion

Art may be a way to explore my world or my imagination. In this way, life is art. Art may inspire a beginning painter to take steps into learning a new medium, or an accomplished artist to experiment with a new technique. Art is teaching, art is learning. Art can be exciting, empowering, and an expression of love.

I am a member of the art council of Sri Lanka

In March 2020, I was awarded 1nd place Award of Excellence of National Art Competition.

I exhibit my work in group and solo exhibitions in island wide and is selling my art worldwide.
