Qazi Shaharyar Akhter

Qazi Shaharyar Akhter is a self-taught Visual Artist based in Karachi, Pakistan. Shaharyar started off by learning basics from YouTube followed by painting and sketching other's artwork that he found easy. Soon, he added his creativity element to each work and mastered the art of adding his "touch" to the canvas.

What sets him apart from other artists is that he adds a certain flair to his artwork that depicts vividly. He explores new styles of expressionism and delivers the mix of Sufism culture with his very vibrant and captivating acrylic knife strokes on canvas. His series of paintings, named "Scrutiny" is inspired by Rumi and his surmising leaves the on-looker with an intriguing vibe that builds curiosity in them to read about the dervish. What else can you expect from an artist who is widely inspired by the greatest of all time artists, Salvador Dali, Van Gogh, and Picasso? From producing portraits to mesmerizing abstracts, calligraphy, and art prints he finally found his niche that lies in acrylics.
