Rachel Barber

I am an artist and printmaker based in Cheshire in the North West of the UK. Having spent many years as a practicing artist, developing my own process and working on commissions for interior designers, I now use the process of printmaking painting and drawing within my work, working from my studio at home.
My work explores the natural environment including land, seascapes and natural forms. I am constantly trying to capture something of the atmosphere I encounter. Walking in the hills of the Peak District, along the beaches of North Wales, on my travels recently to Iceland and Canada, all have had a great influence on my work.
My current process includes mono and screen printing, drawing, painting and mixed media.
