"Painting is a dance into the unknown. When the mind is still, the creative powers flow; a work of art emerges from the grace of the moment. For me, motifs such as landscapes, plants or organic forms are metaphors that open up a path into a transcendental space beyond the superficial recognition of what is depicted.
In abstract and semi-abstract paintings, I explore the transformations and manifestations of being, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in an dynamic atmosphere of living stillness, to establish a connection to their own inner self.
Through the deliberate use of coincidences, gestural brushstrokes and expressive movements, I create an energetic presence in my paintings. Motifs are found and discarded, each picture is created in an intensive process. This dynamic gives the works vitality and power."
