Raoul Gilles

My name is Raoul Gilles, I am an artist painter based in Atlanta, GA. I began painting at an early age. I developed a style of my own. Landscape, Impressionism, and Abstract Modernism.

In 1970, I started to draw and use water colors. I also choose to work with acrylic rather than oils. 1972, I enrolled at the Potomitan Art School. I studied painting and ceramic. Again, in 2005 I enrolled and graduated from the Art Instruction School based in Minneapolis, MN.

My work is in many private collections in the United States, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Germany, France, and Switzerland. I entered the traveling exhibition cross section African American and Caribbean Fine Art Inc.
I was also in the exhibition by Queens College and BMCC University of New York.
