Rasa Vaidila Pavilanis is a Quebec artist who specializes in expressive landscapes as well as finely-detailed horses. Her work is primarily in oil and has been described as watercolour-like. The attention to detail within loose gestural work is a result of a rigorous scientific background and years spent drawing. Pavilanis holds two university degrees, a Bachelor of Science as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
