Rafael Gómez Ayala was born on 10. Nov. 1973 in Ronda, Málaga where he completed his schooling and in 1989 began studying at the Fine Art School in Ronda under Prof. Vicente Bolós.

In 1991/94 he then studied Fine Art at the Málaga Academy.

In 1994/97 he then studied Fine Art under the painter Antonio Cabrera.
