Rita Basumallick

Born in India, now a New Yorker, Rita travelled all through her life, lived across cities and went on internalizing different ways of living. She trained in painting at New York University. Rita works in Oil. Her paintings are expressions of her way of seeing life, a harmony of emotions, cultures and nature. Rita also obtained a CPA license from New York State and graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with an MBA in Finance

Overflowing with texture and feelings, are the works of Rita BasuMallick. each ushered with a soulful mind and spirit of life. Rita's works are mostly action painting, oil on canvas, with various brushstroke, mixture of mediums and their application as well as their very intense conveyance of emotion. Each artwork is a way for the artist to share a feeling felt at a certain moment in time, one that will never occur again, but immortalized on canvas
