EXHIBITIONS

I am devoted to the alchemical spectacle created by combining various inks with bleach, salt, gold dust etc. I never know what is going to happen on the paper.
Usually, the fine details are far more impactful when enlarged.
For this reason I use a high-resolution scanner (Epson Perfection V600), and artworks are scanned at between 1600-1800 dpi, ensuring every details is captured with crystal clarity in the final product, even at the A0 size. Plus it allows me to make very subtle digital alterations to enhance the final product.
All prints are reproduced by WeTink Fine Art Printers in Woodstock, Cape Town, and are archival quality giclée prints on Felix Schoeller True Fibre 200gsm paper.
All prints are signed/dated.

Originally from Johannesburg, I have been working and playing in Cape Town for the past 20 years.
An award-winning writer and editor in the media industry, in 2020 I ran from the 9-5 grind into the open arms of abstract art and haven’t looked back.
