Rosa Rubio

Rosa Rubio is a multidisciplinary Spanish artist. Since she was very young, it was clear to her what her passion was: to create.

Career in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid.

The last exhibition was "Praxis" for Mostra Espanha 2019, which took place at the Luis I Foundation in Cascais, Portugal. The exhibition was organized by the MECD, Acción Cultual Española (AC/E), AECID, the Spanish Embassy in Portugal, the Portuguese Republic and Cultura V Centenario 1ª Vuelta al Mundo.


However, Rosa Rubio exhibited for the first time in 1988, at the Emilio Navarro Gallery. Subsequently, she had the opportunity to show her works in numerous national and international galleries, such as the Pierre Birtshansky Gallery, located in Paris, the Vertice Gallery, Arteara Gallery, Trinta Gallery, Ambit Gallery or the WURTH Museum, among others.

She also carried out a project for the Museum of Contemporary Art of Burgos in 2008, called "En el Transcurso del tiempo" curated by Emilio Navarro with text by Juan Manuel Bonet. And where he created an innovative space between four walls, combining painting, music and sculpture.

On the other hand, the artist has participated in national art fairs in Europe and America, including ARCO 94, 95 and 98, JustMadrid, ART LONDON, FIAC, LA Art Show, 36th Salon Montrouge in Paris, INTERARTE, "Testimoni" Collection (La Caixa) or FORUM, in Germany. Her works have been exhibited in ...
