Ruken Aslan

Artist and academician working at the Painting Department, Faculty of Fine Arts in Trakya University, living at Edirne and İstanbul.

Ruken Aslan, born in 1975, graduated from Notre Dame de Sion French High School. After completing his undergraduate education at Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting, he completed his master's degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Painting with his thesis titled "Reality in Abstract Painting". In 2007, he completed his proficiency in art education at Marmara University Fine Arts Institute with his thesis titled "Romantic Attitude in Plastic Arts". His works have been exhibited in five personal and numerous group exhibitions so far and are included in various collections. The artist works as a lecturer in the Painting Departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Trakya and Marmara Universities.
