Hyeong-Gil Choi

I am a painter who expresses the hard life of a busy modern man cheerfully.

Having dreamed of becoming a cartoonist since childhood, I decided to become an artist since I loved the artist's life and works of art I saw in an artist's studio.

Afterwards, I learned the paintings with my neighbor's painters and won a special prize in the 27th Korean Art Exhibition Planning Division in 2008, and displayed it at the National Museum of Modern Art.

I've been doing fine art work mainly using ink pens since the beginning.
Acrylic, oil markers, watercolor paper, canvas, cotton fabrics and panels are used as materials.
I use the unique properties of different materials to find the color that suits my art style.
I also like to sculpt character characters from paintings and paint on them.
On behalf of Canbis, we are making sculptures using compressed styrofoam, earthenware, and wood materials.

My work has visually impressive features in the world.
Many people think that money is the standard of success in a capitalist society.
Owning a large house in Korea is a symbol of wealth.
