ABOUT
Rupert Hayes studied in Banbury and KIAD Canterbury graduating in 1995. He is a prolific and experimental artist, his artwork is popular and found all over the UK in particular Whitstable where he was based for many years: on walls, in houses, in gardens, on fences, gates, sheds even paving slabs.
Three years ago Rupert had a stroke. He now lives in Banbury in a specialist care unit. In June 2013 the Horsebridge Gallery will exhibit a retrospective of Rupert's work. This will include carved and painted wood, pictures, ceramics, sculptures and prints. Some prints will be for sale.
