Ruslan Chugai

He was born on the fourth of February 1971 in Lutsk, Ukraine.
Ruslan Chugai is in a constant creative search. He has found a lot, learning the language of colour, texture, composition and drawing.
The artist works in such genres as graphics, thematic picture, portrait, landscope, still life. He has a lot to tell people, his inquisitive mind is ready to create interesting ideas. The diversity of his creative art process is depicted even in his own art techniques which Ruslan Chugai uses in his works. The artists combines ancient techniques and materials with modern - oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, pencil, pen, countour pasta, varnish, felt-pen. Such combination opens new opportunities in his creative work.
The unit of mind and heart created the world where the artist not only exists now but also he has a significant potential for future work. He had to overcome different barriers, but his creative work is the main thing for him and his main position in life.
Ruslan Chugai tries to see only the best side in everything, embody his optimism in life. He fells the host of situation when there is an easel and clean canvas in front of him. He creates the world which he admires. He is ready tolisten to different piecesof ...

Studied:
1980-1982 – workshop of art in the Palace of Youth;
1982-1986 – Lutsk art school.
1987-1991 -Lviv State Collage of Decorative and Applied Arts named after Ivan Trush (the department of decorating, qualification - artist designer)
Since 1991 he works on the various positions in Lutsk in the field of industrial graphics.
1992 - pedagogical activity in Volyn vocational school №2, where he taught the composition, fonts, materials science, production training on artistic design.
Since 1996 worked as the head of laboratories at the department of design of Lutsk State University.
From 1997 till 2002 he studied at Lutsk National Technical University where he got education in speciality "Design" (qualification - specialist in design.)
From 2002 has been working as a lecturer at the department of design at Lutsk National Technical University teaching such subjects as "Drawing", "Painting", "Fundamentals of Graphics" and "Fonts".

Since 1991 – a permanent participant in regional, all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions and artistic symposiums.

1997 – Personal exhibition in "Privatbank", Lutsk;
1999 – Personal exhibition in the Palace of Youth, Lutsk ;
2001 – the Gallery of Volyn Branch of Ukrainian National Union of Artists The exhibition of teachers from the department of design.
2008 – Personal exhibition in Lutsk Town Counsil;
2008 - All-Ukrainian exhibition of Still Life, Kyiv;
2008 - International Plenary "My Town", Lutsk.
2009 – Personal exhibition in the Gallery of Volyn Branch of Ukrainian National Union of Arts, Lutsk.
2010 – Personal exhibition in the Gallery "Zuza"."Picturesque Kaleidoscope", Rivne;
2011 - International exhibition, Rivne. Got a diploma "Energy of Fluctuation".
2010 - All-Ukrainian art exhibition of modern portrait "Historical Figures of Future", Kyiv.
2014 - Personal exhibition in the library № 10 «The Light of Human Soul», Lutsk.
2015 - Gallery of young artists "Art Coridor", Lutsk.
2016 - Gallery of modern Ukrainian art "Art Cathedra", The festival of Urban Arts (instalations) - "The Boats on the Land", "Furrow", "Planet". Perfomance "Naked" were presented.
