Ruwani Kudaligama

I am Ruwani Kudaligama, a self-taught abstract artist. Even though i had so much love for arts since childhood i studied Marketing for my degree and MBA. After a long journey in creative, media & tourism industries, finally i decided to commit my self fully for art since i fell in love on what i am capable of at the experiment process during pandemic. So i quit my career October 2022.

I realized my love for freedom of expressing & beauty of imperfections during the process of creating and i fell in more love towards abstract expressionism. I am not afraid of breaking rules. In general, I am an optimistic and happy person. I think emotions in my subconscious and conscious mind of everyday life influence my work mostly and also my endless love for nature and power & beauty of colours. And my love for experimenting will drive me on evolving more of what I like in painting, creating and as a person in general.
