Salina Mendoza

Salina Mendoza is a Mexican and Taíno American artist who's work is associated with minimalism, hard-edge painting, and repetitive use of lines. Her work is inspired by uncomfortable emotions observed in the real world, brain vibrations, repetition, color, and mental health.

Currently, Salina is a curator and partner at Low Key Gallery in Downtown Santa Ana, CA. She is the founder and managing director of Artist Safespaces, a non-profit who designates public and private safespaces for artists to do live art for free. She is the 2019 OC Laureate and works closely with several Orange County municipalities to organize their art communities. Salina also splits her time between art and tech as a Senior Product Manager for one of the leading primary ticketing platforms in the US.
