Sandra Anic

Born and raised in Rijeka, Croatia, Sandra Anic graduated from the University of Rijeka as a graduate economist and after studying she was working on various employments in profession.
During her many travels, as a great art lover she photographed a lot and visited a lot of museums which deepened her interest in art and led her to start pursue art herself. When the opportunity arose in 2017, she decided to dedicate herself more seriously to art and painting, for which she has always had a great affinity.
Originally comes from one summer tourist destination, island Pag, which is her great inspiration. Beautiful landscapes and lots of sun and coastal facilities inspire her in her versatile work, and meditation helps her to transfer all that beautiful energy to her canvases.
Her figurative painting in acrylic technique is rich of vibrant, bright colors, with joyful themes of nature, beaches, boats, people, very often emphasizing the interaction of modern man with landscape and nature. She also paints thematic redefinitions of famous painters that serve her as a challenge and research and where she adds her impression in a modern tone.
