Art is the essence and meaning of my life. Ever since I can remember, colors and shapes have filled me with emotions and inspired me to create. I've always felt that colors contain music, and I saw melodies in colors. The experience of the unity of color and sound, of melody, influenced my life orientation. I paint, play and compose. I was educated in the north, and then I lived in the south of the earth's hemisphere. This is probably the reason why you can see a combination of rational shapes and warm colors in my works. The topics that inspire me are part of my everyday life. Urban life in the city, the seascapes that I lived next to for years (Mediterranean), the influence of the proximity of Africa on the Canaries, where I spent many years. Intuitive painting is also a very common way I approach creating a piece of art. I start from a single point, which turns into a line, the lines look for their own colors and that's how the whole is gradually built. The predominant materials are acrylic and ink, and when I'm looking for very soft transitions, I also use oil paints.
