Sarah Hill

British born Sarah Hill is a painter and visual artist. Painting her refections about selfhood and the female experience using expressive mark making and detailed subtle rendering of her subjects. Her canvases are sometimes hand sewn to leave barley visible messages under the surface of the paint or alongside her brush strokes.

A former fashion designer and label owner, her love of texture and graphic illustration is often felt in her work. Working primarily in oils in delicate tones contrasted by neon spray paint or oil pastels.
