Jayne Pope

I have painted portraits,still life, life painting and murals to commission ,most of my working life.Then moving from London to Suffolk, Constable country, the landscape then became my obsession.
I have a studio set amonst the sweeping agricultural fields with sheep and majestic trees.
Ever since art school in South Wales I have been influenced by Sutherland, Nash, Piper, Hopper for his light and shade and the German Expressionists for their edgy composition and vibrant colour.
