I explore a conflict of desires within traditions & the female form. Exploring the multilayered codes of beauty that affect the female body, I have created an index of names of colors taken from makeup that deal with the body and sexuality. I work from these colors and names and borrow from classical images of art history and current representations of the female form as I aim to re-contextualize my conflict of desires within the traditions of the female body.
