I am Saravana Kumar, living and working in Mysore, Karnataka. India. Studied Fine Arts (B.F.A.) at CAVA, (Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts) specialization in Applied Art.

My work portrays abstract color field compositions, an infinite play of colors and textures.

Colors, shapes, forms, structures and textures of the nature inspire me, creating new abstract compositions that capture a moment in nature along the flow of time.

The monochrome geometric minimalist painting creates a visual illusion and becomes active to viewer to interact and explore the artwork. These works are a balance between hiding and revealing, the play of darkness with light. They capture moments between movement and stillness and give the impression of an infinite darkness and brightness simultaneously.
