I am a multi-media artist. I make images and experience. My images and performances celebrate the mundane and exalt the everyday to history and icon. I work to achieve a balance between composition, materials and meaning.

In my performance pieces, I often make rules and parameters that limit my behaviour - this makes opportunity for artistic exchange.

Reoccurring themes create a tempo and pattern throughout my work. Nostalgia, education and learning, family, history, storytelling and diary keeping are concepts that have contributed to my artmaking.

Texture and pattern are essential elements in my picture making. It is a visual mixture that dances the viewer's eye across and around the surface.

I embrace the ideal of revealing the materials and craft in my work. Breadth and variety of topics and media with a heavy conceptual bent directs my personal practice.
