Vlad Schlezak

As an artist and a doctor I paint about the construction of the human perception which is bombarded with a multitude of stimuli, technology, visual and senatorial information.
I paint our perceptions in multiple layers evoking the way we experience the world and how we use our senses to become aware of others, of objects, of relationships.

In my paintings I capture moments of the perception process. Through perception we are able to identify and respond to environmental stimuli, to people, to nature. We use perception to communicate with others and I paint glimpses of our perception.
I have been painting for 39 years and the media I use is acrylics on canvas and boards.
