Suzan Emine Kaube

Born and school education in Istanbul/Turkey. Moved 1965 to Berlin and Hamburg, Germany. After university, several years working as a school teacher. Since 25 years publishing of poems and prose in German and Turkish language. Painter of mostly large sized, abstract paintings.Equally rooted in the turkish and german metropolitan regions, Suzan's writing and painting is also enfluenced by the rural traditions of her tartar family, which migrated from Romania to Turkey in the early thirties of the last century.

Studied social and political sciences at Hamburg University. Became a teacher in a German secondary modern highschool. Private studies of painting technics.Married and mother of two now grown up sons.
